Filey has a long sandy beach set in a wide bay. The beach is edged with Filey long promenade and has a Sculpture Trail and beach chalets for rent.
To the north of the bay, Filey Brigg juts out into the sea and has some good rock pools to see and explore. There is also a lifeguard on watch on Fileys beach during the main summer season.
